I bought / acquired this Ultimate Parka Coat With fake Fur on 04/11/2012 from Karen Millen for £350.00
A great on trend parka from Karen Millen costing £350, at first I wasn’t completely sold with Parka’s. My biggest fear was certain types look almost too comfortable to be fashionable in that sense. However I was impressed by a slouchy fur detailed Khaki parka coat at the Burberry Autumn/ Winter 2012 catwalk. So I targeted every single Parka to be my ultimate 2012 winter coat. Karen Millen knew exactly what I wanted and the Khaki double breasted quilted coat really caught my eye. It was comfortable and looked extremely fashionable with every casual outfit I teamed it up with.
What I adored about this particular coat was the fact the built in fake fur around the neck area hugged me and has taken over what a winter scarf would have done normally. I have wore this Coat many times since my purchase both open and closed and at times I have only zipped up the under layer body. The metal buttons add sophistication with the Karen Millen etched logo and make it easier for me to wear the coat when I am in a rush. It is fantastic and by that I mean I would strongly recommend it. I’m often not completely won over by coats but this one definitely proved perfection .I also felt the colour was charging away from traditional black. I strongly believe it is the ultimate statement that would serve to keep you warm and rock your fashion this winter.
The only criticism I would give is whenever it is raining I often get paranoid the fake fur detailed border would be ruined and without the fur I consider the coat wouldn’t have that certain edge. However this problem most definitely will be overcome if your carrying an umbrella.
